The prime focus of the QBE PI Broker Service team (BST) is meeting broker needs. The BST approach is to develop business opportunities in partnership with our supporting brokers and to deliver a service offering that is second to none.

QBE PI has been underwriting professional indemnity in the London market for over 30 years, during which time it has established a number of long standing relationships with the broking community. Comprised of experienced underwriters with in depth knowledge of all the professions from architects to solicitors, QBE PI places service to the broking community and client at the centre of all that we do.

Service standards are demonstrated in many areas, particularly with regard to consistent underwriting practices. Quotations are delivered by empowered, experienced underwriters with the support of underwriting systems that have been refined over many years. Thus, allowing consistent pricing, clear terms and conditions in a uniform and structured format thereby enabling contract certainty. Our underwriters also have the flexibility and knowledge to assess any enquiry on its merits and adapt coverage where required.

BST underwriters understand the importance of accessibility and consequently are available for appointments in the QBE PI office, at the box in Lloyd’s or will visit brokers’ offices.

The BST team is supported by a service focused administration team that produce policies in a timely and accurate manner and an experienced claims handling team that are committed to expedient and knowledgeable responses to claim notifications.
