Manager of the month - November 2007

Adrian Gillen is the QBE Fantasy Football manager of the month. His team Ade’s Army scored 73 last month. Adrian’s team is based on a strong performance from mid fielder of Steven Gerrard. Adrian said his secret was to look at which team was playing the most games in November – Aston Villa – and then make sure his team had the key plays, in this case Gareth Barry.

While Adrian doesn’t work directly in the Insurance industry, as he works for a plastics firm, he was encouraged to enter a team by his brother Peter who works for QBE as an auditor. They are competeting head to head in a mini league (Prawn Sandwich Brigade). Adrian is beating his brother , whose tam is Designated Driver, by one point at the moment.
