International Property
Headed by Andrew Stout, our London Market Property team brings together our Property teams from Syndicate 2000, UK Corporate, and International Property. Going forward, the combination of the Syndicate and the QBE Books mean that the account will comprise business written on both Lloyds (QBE Property Syndicate 2000) and QBE paper.
The Portfolio is split into three main parts:
Direct and Facultative
This account is written on a world wide basis with peak exposures in the USA. It is a mix of Full Value, Primary and Excess of Loss business. The focus is on small to medium sized accounts, with Fortune 500 risks also being entertained.
The account is very well spread with no one intermediary providing more than 15% of the overall portfolio.
Binding Authorities
This account at present is almost exclusively USA exposed and is catastrophe orientated. The portfolio is predominantly pure Property, both commercial and habitational, with a modest amount of motor truck cargo and commercial auto physical damage also being written.
The majority of business is written on a Full Value basis, with some layered facilities being written on pure catastrophe accounts. This book is in the main a following market, with some 10% of binding authorities being written on a Lead basis.
UK Corporate London Market
This account focuses upon corporate UK based risks providing Property and Business Interruption solutions on a Primary, Excess of Loss and Full Value basis.
The portfolio consists of (but is not limited to) Manufacturing, Food, Distribution, Technology and Transportation risks and can be written as a package or on a standalone basis.
