Asset Protection
Who we are and what we do
Asset Protection structures diverse, flexible
asset based solutions for banks, financial institutions
and corporate clients around the world.
Our team - based in the UK
and Australia - draws on years of experience across
the financial spectrum, from banking, law and
accountancy to insurance and reinsurance. It's
a mix that gives us the skills and perspectives
of both the banking and insurance sectors - and
allows us to deliver sophisticated asset based
risk solutions, tailor-made to meet our clients'
specific needs.
We benefit from the strength,
stability and broad experience of a global organisation
- and this has allowed us to develop our core
strategy: to serve a wide range of international
clients.
Focusing
on diversity
Looking at an international spread of sectors,
business and asset types is key to the team -
whether it is project, bridging, corporate, lease
or leveraged financing. It is an approach that
we have followed since we were founded back in
July 1997, responding to the growing appetite
of banks and businesses for covering credit risk
using insurance and reinsurance.
Our experience has allowed
us to develop a methodology that marries opportunism
with professionalism.
Tailor-made
solutions
We are driven by a desire to create a diverse
portfolio, constantly looking for new areas to
assume risk. Iinstead of offering clients a series
of off-the-shelf products, we look at their needs
on a case-by-case basis.
Generally, our work falls
into two main areas:
To achieve our market position
we have had to conclude complex transactions against
a challenging timetable and with a range of international
counterparties.
Our achievements are best
expressed by our track record, and we encourage
you to look at examples of how we have helped
our clients and at some of the areas where we
have employed our expertise.
We relish the pursuit
of new opportunities to apply our experience,
skills and techniques. We have an appetite for
new challenges and a desire to meet our clients'
financial needs, whatever they may be.
